Hi,
My player is working … or at least starting. And when I start to play back a video it works, but freezes after a short period of time (typically less than 1 min). I’m on Windows 10. Playing the same video in the Web Player is fine - just fails using the Desktop App.
I admit, I can’t recall exactly. It hasn’t been working lately - was waiting for a player update, thinking that would fix it. But still no luck. It wasn’t working in v1.2 either, if that helps.
Sorry for the delay, got busy with work. Dang it! … LOL. OK, logs attached. Started playback ~ 12:20 pm local time, froze (“Not Responding”) in ~ 1 min or so. Both player and server logs attached, as well as from the server … clip showing the playback (Direct Play video and audio).
@rmorris there’s an interesting couple logs in the Plex.log file pertaining to the video player. Can you share of those MP4+HEVC files with me? I’d like to test it on a couple of our development machines. I’ve sent you a direct message.
