I tried to search for this but failed. I have a tv show with several seasons. The first season is only 6 episodes. Each episode is about 21 minutes long. VLC sees that and plays them correctly. Plex, however, sees the first 4 episodes as having only 2 or 4 or 5 minutes. Other episodes play for the 21 minutes. My server is on a Synology NAS. My computer is Windows 10. I have had plex pass since the beginning of Plex. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance. Deirdre
It’s possible that the media file is missing meta data or some sort of data. In my experience VLC is sometimes able to play files that are broken in some way where as plex needs 100% file integrity. I’ve seen this before, just try ripping or downloading the file again.

Nope. Didn’t work. Parks and Recreation is the only show that has this problem. Weird.
Trumpy81, Thanks. Could this be the case if it is only one show that has this problem? Everything else, 100s of show episodes and movies, are fine.
