Plex Plays Multipart Movie (Concert) In The Wrong Order

Hi Guys,

I have a multi-part concert video, Queensryche: Mindcrime at the Moore. As far as I can tell the files are named correctly, Queensrÿche Mindcrime at the Moore (2007) - Part 1 and Part 2. Plex plays part 2 first. Any ideas? Thanks

I think the first thing I’d do is change Part 1 & Part 2 → Part1 & Part2. I presume they are in the same movie folder?

I did a little test and tried it with Part1 & Part2 and it worked fine. Probably will want to do a metadata refresh after renaming them. I used to very different samples for the 2 parts.

As napolij mentioned, don’t add a space before the part number. You can check whether Plex is treating the files as a multi-part movie by using Get Info in the web/desktop app. The file names will be grouped together if they’re treated like a multi-part movie, and they will be separate if treated as different versions of the same movie:
