I have had this happen too within the last few days. There’s a few threads on r/PleX Reddit page too where this has been happening. People claiming there’s either a prankster going around TMDB & editing random metadata on the site, Or TMDB’s bot has gone rouge & started randomly mass editing metadata…??? Not really sure what has happened TBH, But its seem to be a issue with TMDB & not with Plex or your setup. Hopefully this will be fixed within a week or two (Depending on how many items were effected).
Once its fixed, On the effected library, You can either hit Refresh All Metadata, Or manually edit the few affected movie’s one by one.
