Plex refuses to add home movie library... let me explain

Server Version#: 1.24.2.4973-2b1b51db9-x86
Player Version#: Web

First off, Im not new to Plex, actually ive used it since its inception. Ive set it up on several PC’s over the years and I am familiar with proper labeling of folders, files, etc.

So, I have a USB HD that has all my movies, tv and home videos on it.

Everything has always worked fine, but with the heavy usage I decided to copy all the data to a NAS drive and internally mount it.

That went fine, everything is there. I log into Plex web and find my new HD, and re establish the folders for Movies, TV, etc and its all fine. Everything is there, my custom art works great - no issues.

Except with my Home Movies… They worked on the old drive, but not on the new drive. When I go to add the folder/files it wont let me save, it says “Your changes could not be saved”.

I thought, ok, well Ill just update ther server and all other Plex software installed. Nope, still didnt work.

Then, I plugged in the old portable HD and tried to load that folder like it was before. Nope, wouldnt let me on the old drive anymore either.

Then I checked all the sharing and security settings I could find, everything seemed good, sharable, etc.

I cant for the life of me figure this out and I am at my wits end. HELP PLEASE!

Note: The folder path is A:>Movies>Home Movies>Videos (Year)>Actual Video (Labeled as Year-Title)

Btw, its on Win10x64, i5, GTX1080, 32gb ram in case you need basic specs.
