Unsure as to why, but when I hit ‘Scan Library Files’ for my Music folder, I get a message that says ‘An internet connection is required…’. What’s weird is that the scan works fine for all my other directories, and I am connected.
This isn’t new. It was created at the same time as my other directories.
I don’t know what you mean by 'Plex Premium Music library, or by when I edit it…??
Can you verify that your server has an accurate time and date setting?
Does it have a fully usable internet connection or is it behind some firewall, filter, or VPN?
OK. So, now things are worse. I signed out, shut down and restarted, and now starting up again, it says it can’t find my server. A few weeks ago I replaced my modem. I’m thinking that’s the problem. But now, I can’t seem to find how I set that up in the first place…
OK. New update. I only had one option, so I took it. I selected ‘delete this server’. Then shut Plex down. I then reran the install, which only gave me the choice to select ‘repair’. I ran that. Once run, everything seems to have reconfigured, and all is good now.
I’m glad it all worked but, this entire scenario is really odd, counterintuitive ‘behaviour’…
