Plex Remote Access fails after working for years

Hi, over a sudden my remote access on both plex servers comes up as " Not available outside your network". No changes were made to port forwarding. When I try to ‘retry’ the connection from server’s remote access config page, it switches to green (as accessible) for about 5 secs and then goes right back to red (unavailable)
Plex server version 1.14.0.5465

I have the exact same issue. I’ve spent a few days trying to work out what this is. My port is being forwarded so there’s no issue there. It goes green for a couple of secs and then changes to red as not available. Wondering if this is a Plex Media Server issue. I have version 1.14.0.5465-425e4ac90.

@paul Thanks, hopefully someone from Plex will reach out… The only reason i went for a paid subscription in the fitst place was the ability to stream from outside…

Well, I’m now on version 1.14.0.5468 and I have the same problem. Still NO remote access. Any improvement for you?

I had this issue (disabling and enabling did nothing), but the latest server update solved it for me (1.14.0.5465 to 1.14.0.5468). Perhaps worth rebooting the server? I’m not sure how long it’s been going on for because people remotely connected to my Plex thought it was their error.

If it isn’t working for you on this version it might also be worth checking the UPnP forwarding on your router and confirm that the ports and ip address are correct for the Plex rule.

Blimey, I just rebooted my computer and it is now showing up as Fully Accessible Outside my Network! Fantastic, thanks a lot paul_normal_81. Hope you manage to get yours sorted sol_sl !!

Unfortunately its still a no go for me. Double-checked the forwarding, rebooted, etc… no luck. Now when I tried to stream remotely from a PC only (still doesnt work from a Samsung app, plex android or ios) i get a message that says ‘direct streaming is not available’ and I can strem but at much lower bandwith.
Hopefully someone from Plex Support can chime in…
