Plex Remote Access

Everytime I reboot my Plex server I have to enable and disable remote access to get access outside my network working again. Any ideas and why this is happening.

It could be that your computer is not set to use a static local IP, so when the IP changes, the remote access will break. Go to your router settings and set the IP used by your computer to static (some routers call it reserved).

My entire network is set up with reserved static IPs so that I can remotely access all of my systems from outside the network. Now I am doing that through a DHCP reservation so the box does still request DHCP, but it will always get the same one.

Are you using a manual port or allowing PMS to use UPnP? Use a set manual port number if you are using UPnP.
