The remote disconnection issue started on Wednesday 12, 2019. I updated Windows 10 Version 1809 on Tuesday 11, 2019. Wednesday around 10:30 PM my server remote access disconnect. This server has been running for over three months with no problems. Prior to Windows updates I install new PMS to version 1.15.8.1198. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday around 10 PM the remote connection disconnects. I performed a full uninstall of PMS and installed version 1.16.0.1226. on Sunday 16. It still disconnected but around 11 PM this time. I went through the log/s and was unable to find anything for the reason why its doing this. I even tried to roll back from the version I had prior to the disconnects and the problem still persist. There is nothing else running on this server except Plex software. I went through this forum looking for a solution for “Remote Disconnect” but none of solution work for my system. Port forward on my firewall was configure In Feb. 12, 2019 never been updated or touch since then. What I’ve been doing to fix the issue is Disabling Remote access and enabling it again seems to fix my problem, but this is insane for me to do everyday. Any solution would be appreciated. Thank you.
Fresh Install today with Windows 10 Pro, Applied all windows updates then Install Plex server . attach Movie and TV show files to library. Enabled Remote Access Default port 32400. I was watch today/night when i lose Remote connection to my server which was around 10PM 6/20/2019. I had someone RDP into my plex server and Disable and reinable Remote access to fix the issue again.
I found this in my logs, Not sure if it has something to do with me losing connection or not yet.

I found my fix to this situation. I originally had my plex server on Synology NAS ds1515. When i created a standalone server using Windows 10, I stop the plex service on the NAS and forgot to disable/unitall it once the new server was up and running. I found out my Synolgy NAS applied updates BEFORE the Windows updates on the second Tuesday of this month and rebooted. It start my Plex service back up on the NAS and was conflicting with the new Plex server. They were both on the same default port. My fix was last Friday by uninstalling Plex server software on my NAS, I have’nt had a problem since. Oooops.
