Plex Remote (iOS/Android) to work on local PMC with remote PMS

My scenario is where my Plex Media Server is located on a remote network (hosted server) as my home upload speed isn't fast enough.  I have local Plex Media Centers (including a RasPlex, Mac PMC, Roku, etc.).  When I use my Plex Remote (on iOS or Android), it doesn't see the local Players because the Server is on a remote network.

 

So I'd like to request that Plex Remotes can work with remote Plex Media Servers and local Plex Media Centers.  I'd rather not just expose PMS:32400/clients to the entire Internet.  Running the latest beta PMS and PMC.

I have the same issue. My dad is not able to use his Plex/iOS client to control his Plex/HT because he is connected to my Plex/MS as it is a remote server for him. It would be superb if either Plex/MS would be aware of Plex/iOS and Plex/HT being co-located and would allow control or Plex/iOS would be able to locally pick up any Plex player (like it is picking up local Plex Media Servers).

The current ability of being able to control a remote Plex/HT is not very helpful and potentially disruptive.
