Plex Removing Commercials

So I recorded a tv program last night. Which was about 30 to 45 mins. While Plex did a very fine job up until the very end where it showed the commercials.

So my question is. Is the an advanced setting I can use to make sure it get rid of them from start to finish?

I have also heard their are scripts you can use. But I don’t think those are needed as Plex has it built in now.

Only thing I see is start and finish both set 0.

Meaning start number of mins before and number of mins before the dvr stops recording.

Both set to 0. Do I need to set those maybe to 1 min before and 1 min?

I think the comskip config file says not to remove commercials from the last 2 minutes (because some shows do that “next week preview” that you don’t want to miss, presumably). You could either change that setting or tell the DVR to record and additional min or 2 so that the last commercial can get picked up and scored for removal…
