Plex scan prompts me for internet connection though I am connected

When I try and scan my library (linked to WD Cloud Ultra NAS drive), I get this error message:

An internet connection is required to scan library files. Please check this server’s connection and try again.

But I am connected!
Tried switching off and on, etc, nothing works

Server Version#:
Player Version#: Version 4.59.2
