I have my Roku Ultras set to display the “Aquatic Life” screensaver whenever the player is idle. All channels as well as the home screen will play my selected screensaver whenever the allotted time is up, except for Plex! Instead whenever I’m in the Plex app and the player is idle and the screensaver comes on I got a lousy “Plex” word screensaver bouncing around my screen.
How and why is Plex overriding my Roku settings? Why is Plex bypassing my chosen screensaver to display their own lousy screensaver that I DID NOT select and NEVER WANT to see?
I did not give Plex permission to change my screensaver and this behavior is not acceptable at all! Someone needs to fix this, I shouldn’t have Plex deciding for me that it wants to disable my chosen screensaver in order to show me what they want me to see instead!
This is absolutely ridiculous! I want whatever default screensaver I choose to come on when I’m in the Plex app, whoever designed this behavior was wrong to do so, please fix it immediately!
