Several shows simply wont match, one example is VINCE (2025) - TheTVDB.com, simply doesn’t come up is the search menu.
Is there a lag between when a show is added to tvdband and when plex will finally see it, if so, how long?
And to give more info into the issue, FileBot can find it, rename it, and still, Plex only sees a “VINCE” show, but not this one.
Similar issue with The Matt Walsh Show - TheTVDB.com, here, Plex can match the show, but doesn’t pull in the metadata for it.

Did you get this resolved? I also added a series on TVDB and am wondering if the 72hr thing is accurate. I guess I’ll know in 72 hours lol.
IDK, I ended up having issues and contacted thetvdb and themoviedb both. For 1 I got told the stuff I was adding wasn’t able to be added.
Wasn’t inappropriate or anything, but “wasn’t classified a tv show”.
For the second the official art work violated their rules. Again, noting inappropriate, they didn’t like the lay out or something… of official artwork by the creator of the show.
So I simply said f-it, deactivated my account and did it manually in plex.
Too many OCD control freaks for me to deal with helping them build their site…
