Hello - I was wondering if there is now a completely cloud-based solution for both my plex media server installation and my video files. I have used plex on an old PC connected to my NAS for many years but it feel’s like a dated solution nowadays so I wanted to ask if there is a way to make all aspects of my setup cloud-based. I appreciate that there will be a cost associated to this but I’m interested to know if its achievable and economical. Thank you very much for any help.
Here’s some info on the topic. The thread mentions Plex Cloud, a cloud based server offered by Plex and hosted at Amazon data centers. However, it was discontinued several years ago. There is additional information in the thread regarding running Plex in the cloud.
You can also search the Internet with “Plex Hosted Server” or similar terms. You should see listings for hosting companies that have Plex oriented offerings.
