I have Plex Media Server running on a Macbook Pro and Plex for Samsung running on a QE55Q80RATXXU tv. Up until yesterday everything was working fine, but today suddenly the TV client no longer connects to the server. If I enable Remote Access on the server the client connects in Indirect mode, but turning Remote Access off prevents the connection completely.
They are both connected to tp-link Decos on the same subnet. The TV is connected via an ethernet cable while the MBP is connected wirelessly. Other Plex clients such as my iPhone still connect to the server without any issues.
What could be the problem? I’ve tried reinstalling the app, restarting the Decos and restarting my server but nothing works.
