Server Version#: 1.15.3.876-ad6e39743
Player Version#: Unsure not close to TV at the moment but the current LG Smart TV version.
I am a long time user of Plex and usually very pleased with it. But now I am having a very bizarre problem. This is my first post (I think
) because I have always been able to resolve other issues with Plex.
Running the server on an iMac running High Sierra. Player is the LG Smart TV app.
Whenever Plex Server is running everything is perfectly fine but then after about 15 to 20 minutes it suddenly loses connection. Let me say from the beginning this is not a sleep / power management issue.
When the iMac disconnects it cannot reconnect to the wireless network again until it is restarted. When turning WiFi off and back on again it doesn’t find any wireless networks.I believe this is Plex because it doesn’t happen when the Plex server is not running. I normally have two other devices connected to WiFi and they do not disconnect from the network ever. Also I should point out that this problem only started with the latest update of Plex Server.
Any advice on where I can even start looking for this. I have looked at my router logs but don’t see any abnormal traffic that will cause this. My system logs just shows:
2019-04-14 16:21:36.953227+0200 localhost kernel[0]: (IO80211Family) AirPort: Link Down on en1. Reason 255 (unknown IEEE reason).
Which isn’t very helpful.
The Plex Server logs I can see that is is busy updating the database when the following happens:

However as I mentioned all other devices remains connected it is just the iMac that disconnects and only while Plex is running.
Any advice would be appreciated.
