Not all movies or shows will show up on the plex when they are added to the server. While most of the movies and shows will show up, a few will just not appear unless I move them to a different directory and then they show up. The other problem I am having is my TV shows will have seasons for all the show tie together, for the as watched and thumbnail. I will try to explain, when I watch S1E1 it will mark S1E1, S2E1 and S3E1 as watched and all the thumbnails are for S1E1. While this is confusing the Plex still plays the correct episode.
I reviewed the link and that is not the problem, 99% of the movies and TV shows have no problem. Does not explain how I watch S1E1 and S2E2 gets marked as watched.
And you confused us all, when you mentioned S1E1 but has the files tagged - S01E01 -
Your naming is more or less good, but personally, I would do a Plex Dance, and when putting files back into the file structure, I would name the Show directory Snowpiercer (2020) {tmdb-79680} as well as rename season folders to Season 01 etc.
When that’s said, is your PMS running as a user named david or is it a member of the david group?
Since your naming isn’t that far off, I would also look in the PMS logs for the word malformed
Oh…And forgot
You do have files in your TV library, that are WAY OFF the naming std, like the Insecure episode located at the root of your TV library
I feel this has been resolved, Plex Dance fixed two of the issues I was having. The other issue was a period in the folder name. Thank you for the support.
