Plex Server displaying duplicate connections

Ive noticed that My Server is show that I have two servers locally, when in fact I only have one. So 1 remote stream shows as two, 2 stream as 4, etc. You get the picture. Also attached a screenshot. Any advice is appreciated.

Here’s a similar thread.

Fix for Android App is to sign out of app, restart phone, sign back in to app. Maybe fix is similar for client you’re using.

I’ve had the same issues since the recent updates in the past few weeks. Running on a Win10 box, if I sign out and back in the browser it goes away. The problem is it happens a few times a day and I never had this issue till the past few updates.

Something definitely wrong…

I have the exact same issue for a few months now. I log in and it shows double the amount of true connections and if I try to update a library or click on status to see who’s streaming, it then jumps to something saying I don’t have access to this server and then I have to close my browser and reopen it to connect to my local server, starting the process all over again.

To remedy this, I have to sign out of the browser and then sign in again. But there’s no way of knowing when the next time it will happen.

Version 1.15.2.793

Linux PlexServer 4.9.0-8-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.9.144-3.1 (2019-02-19) x86_64 GNU/Linux (all packages are up to date)

On a possible related note, I drive a lot and I stream music on my iPhone from my Plex server. About the same time as the double-the-connection started, my phone would suddenly play some songs for only a few to several seconds and then immediately start playing the next song. Some songs it would play through its entirety, others it wouldn’t. I tested through Safari, Chrome and nVidia Shield and couldn’t replicate the issue. Logging out and back in, in the iPhone app didn’t correct the issue. I had to uninstall the iPhone app and then reinstall and now it’s working as intended.

I have just received notification to upgrade PMS, which I will do. (plexmediaserver_1.15.4.993-bb4a2cb6c_amd64.deb)
