Since my last Plex update, Plex server stopped working properly. Restarting the NAS, Plex is able to work both on the web application as well on the iOS app but just 2 minutes afterwards, I lose the connection and Plex stops to work and I cant connect via web or via iOS application.
I have no error logs on my DSM DS215J.
It’s really an application problem. Do not upgrade to this version.
I doubt the “old” DSM version is responsible for the problems. I’m using a DiskStation 415+ with latest available DSM (gonna add version information soon) and decided to upgrade from …993 to …994 as my LG 55B8 crashed each time I tried to play a video via DLNA from the plex server.
With …994 installed the TV does not crash anymore but cannot playback any video either. Even worse, all other clients, including an older LD TV, iPad, iPhone fail to playback any video (even ones that used to work).
Seen the post. I mean if Plex would at least use good programmers to avoid these kind of issues it would be great. It seems that there is actually an issue on the latest Plex software.
