Server Version#: PlexMediaServer-1.24.4.5081
Player Version#:Plex-1.35.1.2632-c6783c78-x86_64
The last update of the Server version dated 24 09 2021, to be downloaded from the site “media-server-downloads” is : PlexMediaServer-1.24.3.5033-757abe6b4-x86_DSM6
The one, which is presently installed on my NAS is: 1.24.4.5081… ; it does not work anymore, as, even if I can access the server, I cannot open any of the libraries (Message : An error has occurred).
On top of that, DSM refuses to install the version 1.24.3.5033-757abe6b4-x86_DSM6, as DSM expects to install a version 1.24.4… not older that the one already installed.
Many thanks for your answer.

Reading Your email, I understand that I can install on the server any of the available Plex versions (newly issued or a previous one) and it should work. But it does not.
A few days after a new version of the Plex server is issued, I cannot access my Libraries anymore unless I install the new version.
Should I install a previous version, as for a few days, the new proposed version was a 1.24.4.5081 which I could install and run. But a few days later, the new proposed version was : 1.24.3.5033-757abe6b4-x86_DSM6 and then the version 1.24.4.5081 did not work anymore.
If Plex runs properly with the last version or any of the not too old previous ones, then I should not need to do anything and the current version of Plex server should be able to open my Libraries.
Am I wrong?
I wait for your answer before I dis install the present version.
Could you tell how I can dis install the current version.
Many thanks for your answer.
I have started the procedure you wrote down, to move the medias folders from the Homes folder to the Medias one that I have created…
Steps 1,2,3,4 went well.
But I have not succeeded in step 5 : Edit a library and add the new folder path for that library.
I edit the first Library (Films adultes), clicking on the 3 dots next to it to the right), I can then Modify / Add folder / Choose a Multimedia folder /Volume 1/Medias.
I then scanned the Library “Films adultes” and nothing happened.
I am sure I did something wrong but I do not see what.
Many thanks for your prompt answer.
I understand that I must add Films Adultes to the path but I do not know how and I did not find the way to do it.
When I edit the Libraries and click on Films Adultes, I can see 3 dots to the right. When clicking on these 3 dots, I can see a menu : Reorganize, scan the library, share, manage the Library.
When clicking on the last item Manage the Library, There is a menu : Modify, actualise, empty the trash, Analyse and Erase. I then click on Modify. There is an other menu General, Add Folders, Advanced. I click on Add folder Choose a Multimedia folder. It shows a list of folders : Volume 1, Config, bin, etc…
I click on Volume 1 and it shows a list of Folders, out of them Media, Partage, Photos, Plex, Thierry-DS, video.
I then click on Media, but, I cannot go further and add Films adultes.
I must be wrong somewhere and there must be an other way to do it, but I could not find it.
Many thanks.
Your help has been much appreciated as you have helped me better understand the way Plex is working.
My Libraries are now moved to the Media folder and all the films are in the Libraries.
Again, many thanks for your patience and your ability to explain with very simple words what to do.
