Has anyone found a solution to this. I’ve now uninstalled and reinstalled the Plex app on my 5N2 several times and having to rebuild my libraries each time only to have it work for a little while and then down again. Getting tired of the instability of this service.
I have the same issue on my 5N2, plex was running fine till it updated and now can’t manage to get it running…
I would suggest look into the logs files in \drobo5n\DroboApps\plex\Library\Plex Media Server\Logs. Also if you are willing to uninstall and install make sure “\drobo5n\DroboApps\plex” is deleted and then install
I did that, even deleted the logs… nothing works…
Has anyone found an answer to this??
I’ve been continuously trying to get Plex Server to work on my Drobo 5N with no results since few months.
I tried upgrading the Plex app manually - No Luck
I did the downgrade (update according to Drobo apps) - still nothing
Drobo Firmware: 4.2.1-8.123.114095
Drobo Dashboard: 3.5.0 [113780]
I’m trying not to lose my watch history from the server as I have lots of movies and shows and want to keep track; therefore complete uninstall would be a really must last resort.
Dont know what to do or what to look for in the Logs – here is my latest file:
