- Was Plex Media server already installed before on this machine, maybe using a different plex.tv user account?
- Are you doing this on a machine in your own, local and private home network?
- Are you sitting in front of this machine or are you working with a remote desktop solution?
- Have you tried the alternative method of claiming the server as described in New Claiming Requirement for Windows ?
