Same server version, on Windows, and getting the same thing. Server constantly crashing and becoming unavailable. I’ve only noticed frequent crashing since around the last update. In the media scanner log, it was going along fine detecting files I’d renamed and moved, and then “Error issuing curl_easy_perform(handle): 7” and then the server froze… Trying to scan the same library makes Plex crash reliably, but doesn’t seem to update logs reliably.
It just became available again. I can’t figure it out. It became available at the May 05, 2020 21:10:03.901 mark, I guess somewhat later at May 05, 2020 21:10:13.320, this is when the /myplex/account GET was succesful.
Me too, since a few updates back, I had to always reboot the server after each update or otherwise it would crash after a few minutes of being updated, but since the last update it happens to me a few times a day. Does any body can recommend a reliable version to stay in until this get fixed?
Just chiming in. I’ve been having the same problem. It used to crash once in a long while but now it is daily at least once. Windows 10, installed on a clean system, everything up to date.
Also having the same problem on Version 1.19.3.2843 - seems like the Plex Media Server processes crashes at least 2 time per hour. Has been rock solid the past few years, but with the past few updates it seems to have become a bit unstable…
I have never had an issue with the server app crashing in the last… **** I don’t even know how many years until the latest update ~4 days ago. Will randomly crash multiple times per hour or stable for 7 then crash etc etc. Guess I will see how to roll back.
Just thought i would update this thread, since updating to Version 1.19.3.2852 seems the crashes have been fixed at least for me (i may need to keep digging into why remote access gets randomly disabled)
