I migrated my windows server to UnRAID last month with much better hardware in an attempt to improve my overall server load speed. My previous Windows server was running the metadata on an 850 Evo SSD. My library DB is relatively large at around 1.2GB. I was thinking that upgrading the server and building using UnRAID with a Sabrient rocket 4 plus NVMe SSD as my metadata drive would improve the speeds. However, somehow this system is noticeably slower than my windows system. The HDDs used to store my media are Seagate Exos X16’s although I don’t think this would affect the menu load speeds. Does anyone have any idea as to why this is?
