Hi. Seems like this has been an issue for years, 2 different Shields, and have yet to see a permanent solution. The Plex server just randomly decides to stop working and doesn’t come back. In settings, nothing is listed for “Plex Media Server”. I can’t access the Shield’s Plex server through my laptop. And I definitely can’t access Plex remotely.
Here’s a twist, though. I can access the music remotely, on the external hard drive connected to the Shield, when I use PlexAmp. Isn’t the server needed for that, as well? Anyway, not sure what to try. I have stop/started the server. No help. I have rebooted the Shield. No help. Is there a solution available?
