I cannot get Plexiglas service to see files to upload.

In synology control panel, go to shared folder, create, and make whatever you want to show. Then map it How to Map a Network Drive on Mac
Please do not place any media anywhere in the PlexMediaServer shared folder. This is PMS internal data for PMS use only.
It is best to IGNORE the PlexMediaServer shared folder unless there is a problem requiring manual access.
