Plex Server not seeing Server

Player Version#:

New windows install
Installed Server then double click on it, shows me web page click on add my media says install media.

Only the Server is installed done this many times before what has changed?

Thank option two worked managed to show the server settings then I was able to claim it.

New user here, and I have the same problem with a freshly installed Linux server: just like in the image above my own server’s web interface always asks me to install Plex Media Server…

I have already tried the suggested remedies:

  • signed out from Plex account in my browser, both in the web app and in the local web interface
  • stopped Plex Media Server
  • uninstalled Plex Media Server and purged all data (verified)
  • reinstalled
  • started Media Server
  • accessed local web interface, logged in with my account
  • under Your Media I see … “Get Plex Media Server”

No matter what I do, I always get the “Get Plex Media Server” page…
