I’ve updated my [Mac Mini] server to Catalina - 10.15 (19A603) - and Plex server runs, but it doesn’t let my Apple TV Plex client connect. In fact, Catalina has some major network access issues and I can’t get to network drives most of the time either. The Plex client on my iPhone works, however, so I’m not 100% sure what’s going on. Definitely ready for this to be fixed, though, as I watch my Plex most nights and now I’m left with nuthin… HELP!

Doesn’t fix it - already had permissions granted. If a developer is looking at this issue w/ Catalina, I’m happy to share log files. Just reach out. Every Plex client seems to be working fine EXCEPT my Apple TV client at this point. FYI.
Hello, I am having “playback errors” with PMS on my Catalina Mac and Plex on my Apple TV. PMP on my Mac appears to work fine, as do my iPad and Android phone. I haven’t yet tried my Samsung blu-ray player or LG TV. All firmware is the latest. Maybe these are related to your problem, and are at Apple’s feet (except for the working iPad)?
Again, no substantial tests yet (too late at night) but this playback error doesn’t seem to affect films ripped some time back (I presume pre-Catalina). I hope I don’t have to re-rip when a fix is found as it’s quite and industrial process getting through my library…
And now it’s all playing properly on PMS on my Mac! Absolutely no changes made by me to anything (other than continuing to rip)… All I can think is that trying to play some older material reset something somewhere.
