Instalar o Plex Server em Linux Mint para novatos
EN: This manual is for those like me who have a computer and they whant to run a PMS (Plex Media Server) on Linux Mint.
Why Mint? Because it’s lightweight and as a graphical interface.
Many of the steps can be applied to other Linux OS’s.

The next steps must be redone everytime you add/change removeable disks to PMS.

Os passos egintes têm que ser repetidos cada vez que adicionar novas unidades amovíveis ao PMS.

PT: Vai a Menu » Preferencias » Discos
EN: On the left side, click on the removeable disk
PT: No lado esquerdo clica na uníde amovível
EN: On the righ side, click on the cogs adn select “Edit Mount Options…”
PT: No lado direito clica nas rodas dentadas e seleciona “Edit Mount Options…”
EN: Disable “User Session Defaults” switch
PT: Desliga o interruptor “User Session Defaults”
EN: The check boxes “Mount ast system startup” and “Show in user interface” must be on.
PT: Os parâmetros “Montar no aarranque” e “Mostrar no interface do utilizador” tem que estar ativados.
EN: Replace nosuid,nodev,nofail,noauto,x-gvfs-show with defaults,auto,nofail,x-gvfs-show
PT: Substitui o texto nosuid,nodev,nofail,noauto,x-gvfs-show com defaults,auto,nofail,x-gvfs-show

PT: Reiniciar o computador
EN: Only after restart you can add the media on the disk to PMS and it will work.
PT: Só depois de reiniciares o computador é que adicionas as pastas o PMS e vais ver que funciona.
EN: To be able to access the new added units on the network, just right click on the folder you whant to share and the go to properties then Sharing.
Enable “Share this folder”, check all boxes and press “Create Share”
PT: Para poderes aceder aos discos a partir da rede basta que carregues com o botão do lado direito do rato na pasta que queres partilhar, seleciona “Propriedades” depois “Prtilhar esta pasta”, tens que ativer todas as opções e por fim carrega criar partilha.
