Hi,
I use Plex Server to watch movies stored on my PC on my TV’s Chromacast.
When I use Plex Server to play a 1080p movie: no worries.
When I use Plex Server to play a 4K movie, my PC screen goes black, the sound starts for 5 seconds, it stops, the PC heats up and the fans spin up.
In the Windows task manager, the processor is at 100% with the process “Plex Transcoder.exe”.
After 30 seconds, Plex Server crashes.
This problem happened after 2 updates:
- nvidia 511.65 driver
- Chrome 98.0.4758.82
