Plex crash playing 4K video

For some reason Plex server is crashing when playing a 4K video. I see errors such as the following in the log file. I am forcing direct play on Roku 4 and while everything works great for a few seconds, plex reports that the server is not powerful enough and resorts to transcoding.

After a few minutes, the server wasn’t accessible via http.

Can you provide the XML from PMS for that video? Sounds like you are trying to force something that isn’t supported.

Mind if I ask what you are trying to play and also what the info button says the media is?

I’m running my plex server on Unbuntu Linux 16.x with my media on a ReadyNAS array. I downloaded several sample videos off of youtube to test with and they all play well. This is using the LG plex app.
