My ota station line up required me to rescan my tv’s and such. When I
rescan my plex server it only finds a very small number of stations. I’m using an
Hauppauge WinTV-dualhd usb tv device on a computer running windows 10. It has been
running for several months now. The software that came from Hauppauge, WinTV8.5 was able
to see all the channel after I did a rescan for it. Since this runs on the same computer, it is baffling as to why the Plex server can’t see all the channels. I’ve updated all the drivers and I am running the latest version of the Plex server. I’ve tried un-installing and re-installing the server too.
I’ve heard this line up change was to comply with FTC requirements. Is it possible that they are now on frequencies that the Plex server can’t see?
Is there anyway to manually add channels?
I figured it out. Thanks to anyone who may have looked at this.
