Plex Server running but not running

I haven’t been able to use Plex for awhile. So finally today I was able to download the newest version and install. For the first time in months it actually worked! Then I tried to re add all my libraries and it didn’t work. Now if I click on the icon, it’ll say Plex is running via task manager but will not show up in the task bar and the dashboard says the server can’t be found. I’ve restarted the computer about 5 times. I’ve ended task from task manager. Still nothing.

I’m really irritated because I really want it to work again but have no idea how to get this working

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling Plex?

A couple times. This is the first time in months I’ve actually been able to get it to do anything at all. I think it has finally uninstalled completely the last time so I could reinstall it. Was always getting an error about that as well
