Server Version#: 1.21.2.3943
Hi all, I recently upgraded my plex server on my synology. I just noticed I am no longer able to view any content in my library and Plex is not adding new content to my library at all. I use Radarr and Radarr and Sonarr to add content and have not made any changes.
The permissions all seem to be set correctly. Is there something else I am missing?
Sorry, I edited the post. here are the errors I am seeing. I have not made any changes to the system other than upgrading plex. I cannot seem to find where I set the system user that Plex uses to access the drive.
This is from the server log:

It appears there is an ACL attached to the directory but I cannot view it.
From the synology file manager I cannot view the directory. Also, when I go to the plex console and attempt to add a new library it will not let me browse to the directory where files are stored.
I have tried to do that but I do not see the share in the Shared folders window. The share is not accessible from the GUI, I can only see the share using the CLI.
It appears that there were some changes to the directory that I cannot track, I am going to try to create a new share and point plex at the new directory.
If it’s not in the Control Panel - Shared Folders list then it’s a regular directory.
It looks like you’ll need to do some moving around of data.
Perhaps?
Stop the apps which are using those directories ( Syno Community apps )
Rename the directories to something temporary
Create proper shared folders, of same original name, to take their place.
Assign permissions to allow those apps to use the new shared folder
Assign permissions for yourself and Plex
Copy (don’t move) the directory contents to the new shared folder
Now, using FileStation, check the properties and verify which username is the owner of the files and sort out how you want to do that based on what the directory has.
When all is done, start and verify each app, one by one works.
Tweak any permissions issues as you bring it all back online.
When those apps are stable, now you can turn to Plex and give it Read permission.
