All I want to do is stream a few video files from a folder on my PC over to a Samsung TV connected to the same wi-fi network. I figure this is about the easiest, most cut-and-dry use case for this application you can think of but it just doesn’t work. The server name appears in the player app on the TV but it claims it’s unavailable and to check if the server has an internet connection.
I’ve tried everything from the steps in the troubleshooting guides all the way to setting the TV’s IP address to not requiring auth in the server settings, port forwarding the 32400 ports in my router settings, to god knows what else. Nothing works.
I’m just about to give up on the bloody thing but I figured I’d ask here first.
