Hello there,

I have following problem. On my new Samsung Smart TV (Modelyear: 2020) i can´t use Plex. I get the error message “… is currently unavailable” but my PC, Smartphone and FireTV Stick can connect to the Server (a friend of me host the server). I read many Threats on this Forum and on other Website and I tried every possible solution (reinstall the App, gave the TV a static IP-adress, set “Allow Insecure Connection: Always”, leave early-access Versopn of Plex) but nothing works.

Does anyone of you still have an idea?

Your friends server is offline as far as its remote access being published. the Firetv probably has the ip cached. Not sure what app you are using on PC but likely same thing or if you know the direct IP. The smart tv app i don’t think can cache that so the server need to be have its remote access published so you should ask your friend if the server shows that remote access is working in it’s settings.
