Hi,
I’ve tried everything. I am running plex media server on my mac and the player ob my apple tv. Both are hard wired into my router. Yet, my media server keeps saying its unavailable. I have also tried players on wifi like on my iphone and the same thing, it cannot find the server.
One hint is that when I enabled remote access, it was able to connect that way, but wont connect directly.
Now I have tried all of the things in the help files.
- no vpn
- no anti virus
- removed and re installed plex from scratch
- logged out and back in
- selected preferred secure connections
- the server is on my devices page
I used to use plex for many years and all of a sudden I’m having this weird issue. I would very much appreciate any assistance.
