[MacBook] Plex media server not available

Server Version#:v.1.43.3.10896-cb3ebc72d

August 12, 2026
Player Version#:current
<If providing server logs please do NOT turn on verbose logging, only debug logging should be enabled>

After updating my server, I am no longer able to access it. I am able to run the server and media player off of the Macbook but that’s it I cannot access the server from my phone, PS5, or any other logged in Player.

All libraries are shown as unavailable.

What do you see when you go to app.plex.tv? Make sure the browser has local network access. Does it give any kind of error message other than unavailable?

You can try to force plex to redownload your certificate. Stop plex, go to the folder in the path below and remove the certificate from the folder, *.p12, and restart plex so that it pulls down a new certificate. Some have had to move the entire cache directory out. Don’t just delete it, just move it out so plex re-downloads everything.

/Users/<username>/Library/Caches/PlexMediaServer

If you don’t see that path in your user directory, make sure you have hidden files/folders enabled: command + shift + “.”

If that doesn’t work, you may want to download your server logs and share them so someone can take a look.
