I recently tried to share my Plex library with a friend, but she received an error message when trying to connect indicating that my server version is too old. I am running PMS on a 1st gen Mac Pro which is limited to Mac OSX 10.6.8. I’m wondering whether it is wise/safe to install the latest PMS - the requirements indicate minimum 10.9 (Mavericks). I’m tempted to try it, but I don’t want to lose what is currently working.
