Plex Server was deleted, cant get it back and Wizard wont start

Yesterday, my Plex account stopped working all of a sudden after months of working perfectly. The WD Home Cloud storage can be accessed still from my computer and works perfectly. The issue was the connection with the PLex app. So after trying everything I deleted the server from the left menu and now I cant find it or get it back. I tried everything and thought I messed up my account, so I sadly deleted it. Made a new one, and when I opened it, it went directly to the Plex home menu without going through the Set Up Wizard where you choose name and the server. I seem at a lost, is my computer bugged? Cant seem to find a way to set up my server which works fine. Everything is updated and eveyrthing was working fine 2 days ago. Any ideas?

Deleting your account was unnecessary.

Edit: As was completely uninstalling Plex Media Server. Your server was most likely still tied to your old account. Forcing it to an unclaimed status, then re-claiming it with the new account should have resolved the situation.

If you are using Plex Media Server on Windows:

  1. Stop Plex Media Server.

  2. Look in your list of Authorized Devices. If any servers are listed, delete them.

  3. Follow the steps in the below support document (delete certain registry entries). It will place your server in an unclaimed state. You can then claim it using your new account.
