Plex setup NVidia Shield and External Drive

So I have a NVidia Shield with a connected 4 TB External hard drive. I have installed the Plex software including server from the Play Store. I read that when you have this configuration you need to move your media into a folder created on your external device called ‘NVidia Shield’ which I have done. I have configured Plex to look at my external device for my media, but it cannot find anything?

Is there a setup guide for this configuration.
