why does the Plex shield (android) player does not allow the user to offset subtitles anymore ?
why the hell would this basic necessary feature be removed.
stop breaking your product every time you release new versions.

No, the function has totally disappeared.
Same issue experienced on MacOS PMP v2.56.0 trying to offset an external .srt file. Feature missing altogether.
Is anyone at PLEX going to address and fix this?
My wife;s native language is Spanish. She speaks English and reads it well, but not when the subtitles are out of sync with the spoken words.
What is wrong with you guys that you can’t include a simple XBMC/KODI feature?
Works on my Shield.
I did notice that the subtitle must be selected on the pre-play screen, before playing the movie. If selected after playback begins, the subtitle offset capability is not available.
