Plex shows 2 servers?

Server Version#: 1.18.3.2156-349e9837e-x86_64
Player Version#: Synology DS415+

I’ve had a number of issues over the holidays. Finally manually installed the latest version of PLEX and that seemed to fix things. However, my server application and my TV show my server name (Deathstar) twice. The one that doesn’t work has an exclamation mark. I can’t seem to get rid of it? Is there a way to remove this server…just to make sure the kids don’t use the one that doesn’t work. Why is it there…legacy from the previously installed version of PLEX?

I have the same icons on my pinned menu as well and asked this question in my post with the build 1.18.4.2171 on Plex crashing on Synology DS918+.

I think the blue icon is the server and the user icon is a client connection because of the email address on it.

Not sure myself why the user icon has the exclamation mark I tried a few things but the exclamation mark stays. Removed all the authorized devices except the Plex server.

This happened to me when I migrated my server to a new location. As long as the new server is set up to your satisfaction, you can remove that old server.

Prior to the reinstall I moved everything to a different folder structure on the same server. Guessing that did it. How/where do you delete the old one? Do I have to?

Settings -> Authorized Devices (left pane) -> Servers dropdown.

For me on the pinned screen very similar to yours (mine had a user icon image server name and email address) with exclamation mark. I found under account > users and sharing I had my account also listed as Friends sharing, I removed the Friend user and sharing and it removed my Exclamation icon completely from the pinned menu.

Thanks for the help everyone…great community!
