Just updated my Synology NAS to the latest 1.16.3.1402 release (ds418play). I don’t know what I’ve done, or if it’s plex, or what – but I’m now getting dozens of e-mails spamming my inbox with signin notifications.
Every time I close my browser and log in again or any of my devices opens plex, I’m getting spammed with signin notifications.
Help! How do I turn off this firehose?!
It’s happening to me on my Mac as well. Presumably someone at Plex flipped a switch…

Enabled it, applied it, and disabled it again just to make sure it’s not in a weird state. Still getting e-mails every time I bring up my Plex server in a new browser tab.

Hi guys! We are on top of this and a fix is being deployed as we speak. Sorry for the mass emails! 
Whew. Sounds like this is a known issue. I received an email that I signed in from another city (a common endpoint of my VPN service) so I assumed my account had been compromised. Sounds like that’s not the case.

Started receiving these emails last week. How can I turn this off?
Same here - started a few days ago. “Fix has been deployed” in July hasn’t stopped the emails for me. Anyone know any manual settings to address this?
I’m also now getting spammed by these emails… something broke the fix I guess? I actually wasn’t getting them before this week … fwiw I run my plex server on my mac os.
