Sometimes during the day I take a break from work and login to plex… then I get these random email alerts… OH HEY someone just logged in your plex server, amek sure it was you from xxx IP address… yeah well I know that it was me… and it’s not accessible outside my network anyway… and now my wife just saw in the inbox that I am playing on plex instead of working…
So yeah I want that feature turned off when I don’t want it or need it but could turn it back on later… etc
Aren’t those just push notifications that only get displayed on the iOS or Android Device that the server admin is using, and not sent through email ?!!?
I’ts an email to my registered plex pass account login address.

I suppose this could be happening as my browser cookies get cleaned regularly depending on what I am working on. I build websites and infrastructure in AWS/Azure and frequently need things to refresh properly… so there are times when I launch plex from a frequently cleaned browser and have to relog in. it is on a home PC inside the internal network. I am guessing the login runs out to validate my current plex pass membership as it cannot find the token or cookie.
Sorry, you are totally correct -
Just looked through my emails and I get those too
I’ve stopped paying attention to those so long ago, I forgot those are sent out
