I started having this problem back in June 2019 and posted in a different thread.
None of the updates I’ve applied have fixed anything. I’m on the current release (1.18.3.2156) and I have checked the button on the quality tab that will auto adjust but that doesn’t fix anything.
I use MakeMKV primarily and I can’t say whether this started after an upgrade to MakeMVK or if it’s strictly a Plex issue.
Very annoying.
