I have been using subtitles for foreign language movies for a while with some success. When they work, they work well. When they don’t it seems to be a matter of the .srt file I’m using, more often than not.
More recently, I’ve been trying to use the forced subtitle mode, with movies like Tora! Tora! Tora! but while the subtitles play when they are needed and not when they aren’t, the movie skips a few frames, sometimes as much as a second.
I found this page and have set up my account accordingly:
But the skipping hasn’t stopped yet.
