Plex slow to display .mkv

Hi,

 

I'm using Plex with Windows 8.1 and Apple TV 3. I have PlexConnect with PMS on the same machine. 
I created a library "Series", with episodes in .mkv(550mb), but when I display it on apple tv is loadinnnnnnnng, and does not display the videos. I can navigate between episodes usually is the difficulty in displaying them.
Already liberated in firewall ports 53 and 443 and changed the DNS in settings.cfg without success.
 
Any idea?

From your post I assume you can access plexconnect since you can navigate your content but you just can’t play it? If that is true your content may of been encoded improperly. Can you play it on a different device such as pht on your windows machine successfully? I seen this not sure if it would help, you can change the .mkv to .mp4 apparently pretty easy and the program is for windows:

Personally I find .mp4 works the best for Apple TV since the aTV can play them natively.
