Since a week i seem to have the following problem.
I will break down step by step to reproduce this problem.
i have the following two files.
/volume1/Storage/Media/Series/Narcos/Season 02/Narcos - S02E02 - Cambalache.mkv
/volume1/Storage/Media/Series/Narcos/Season 02/Narcos - S02E02 - Cambalache.nl.srt
When i remove the SRT file from this location, plex doesn’t seem to update the database.
When i select the non-existant SRT file in the plex webinterface, and play this episode, i get the errormessage:
There was a problem playing this item.
If i copy file /volume1/Storage/Media/Series/Narcos/Season 02/Narcos - S02E02 - Cambalache.nl.srt back to the location, and play the episode with this SRT file, i still get There was a problem playing this file.
I have removed the directory /volume1/Storage/Media/Series/Narcos and recreated this directory and recopyed all the files.
Still Plex thinks there is a SRT file, which in fact isn’t at the location.
I created a new library, and added the directory /volume1/Storage/Media/Series/Narcos/.
Also in this case it finds the non existent SRT file.
I have remuxed the MKV file, and added the SRT file in the MKV. Plex finds this subtitle, but still thinks there is the serperate SRT file.
I have the feeling there is some sort of cache in a database which got corrupted? How could i solve this problem ?
